Blender Operator:

Minimum of high school education or GED. Experience in a blending or chemical handling environment is also strongly desired. Skills and Abilities for the
Blender Operator :
Physically capable of performing demanding tasks, wearing required PPE, and working in high‑ or low‑temperature environments. DOT Hazmat certification is preferred, along with training in spill response procedures. Solid knowledge of chemical hazards and safe handling practices. Able to perform routine linear calculations and other fundamental math functions. Familiar with core blending processes and equipment, including pumps, valves, and kettles. Blender Operator :
Carry out the mixing and preparation of chemical batches by following blend sheets or formulas, adhering closely to detailed instructions and adapting quickly to new processes. Keep the batching area organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards. Oversee tank operations and record daily inventory levels for all tanks. Measure and dispense blend ingredients using load cells or volume meters, verify that all measuring tools are functioning correctly, and report any issues to supervision. Transfer and manage a wide range of chemicals, from simple water-based materials to highly hazardous substances. Operate and understand multiple types of chemical pumps and material‑handling equipment used to move raw materials and blends. Connect tanks and hoses for blending or packaging activities, coordinating with line supervisors to ensure correct tank hookups and alerting operators when product levels are low. Follow and verify fill-line paths to confirm proper routing and accurate material transfers. Observe blending processes, including timing, temperature, and tank levels, to maintain safe and controlled operations. Interpret tank charts, gauges, and temperature‑conversion data to calculate correct fill volumes and ensure safe storage levels. Understand the characteristics and hazards of all materials stored on-site, use appropriate PPE, and secure any tanks not currently in use. Support the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO‑9001:2015 requirements, including accurate documentation of all blending activities.
