Role:
The Double Backer Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process within the non-durable goods sector by operating and maintaining double-backing machinery to ensure high-quality product output. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and troubleshoot issues, ensuring consistent production standards are maintained. The operator will collaborate closely with quality control and maintenance teams to optimize workflow and minimize downtime. Ensuring safety protocols and operational guidelines are strictly followed is essential to protect both personnel and equipment. Ultimately, the Double Backer Operator makes a significant contribution to meeting production targets and maintaining the overall efficiency of the manufacturing line. 3rd Shift Hours

AM Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably in non-durable goods production. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance. Ability to read and interpret production documents and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience specifically with double backing or similar machinery. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes. Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking. Certification in industrial safety or equipment operation. Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
Operate double-backing machines according to established procedures and safety standards. Monitor machine functions and product quality, making necessary adjustments to maintain specifications. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Identify and report mechanical issues or production irregularities promptly to maintenance teams. Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in training new operators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
