JOB SUMMARY
: Takes direction from Supervisor or Manger to accomplish set production goals. This position will primarily verify operation and make adjustments to the box machines.

ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Ability to utilize bilateral upper extremities concurrently and independently for various fine motor tasks, including, but not limited to grasping, pinching, tossing, and wiping. Ability to work above shoulder height and below knee height. Ability to crouch, kneel, squat, bend reach, push, pull and twist. Ability to ascend and descend stairs. Ability to stand for the entire shift. Must be able to work in temperatures ranging between 40-45 degrees Fahrenheit.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ACCOUNTABILITIES
: Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with established food safety programs, including HACCP programs, SSOPs and GMPS. Responsible for the operation and performance of the Pearson packaging machines Though understanding of the box machines operation. Prior to shift set up all box machines, baggers, and glue tanks. End of shift machine shut down including additional cleaning. Make adjustments and minor parts replacements on all machines in the box room. Minor daily and weekly PM's Assist maintenance with repairs and parts replacements. Machines, glue pots and all associate equipment be cleaned daily. Assist in training of co-workers as necessary to maintain adequately trained staff. Effectively communicate with all levels of employees. Attend meetings and training as required Saturdays as needed for repairs, installs, or training.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience operating equipment and food manufacturing equipment highly desired. Food and/or production experience required. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
