a Machine Operator / Production Technician for an excellent manufacturing opportunity in Lincoln, NE! Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced in machine operation? We are seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join an established manufacturing team producing high-quality, precision products used in advanced technology industries. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity paying $18/hour , with the potential for long-term employment! 1st shift hours 7-3:30pm Monday - Friday but while overtime required candidates must be able to start at 5 or 6am and work Saturdays from 6am-noon. Job Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate production machinery. Perform machine setups and adjustments to meet production specifications. Follow work instructions, process sheets, and quality standards. Monitor production and inspect products for accuracy. Use measuring instruments to verify product specifications. Operate computerized machine controls and production systems. Troubleshoot basic production issues. Work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards. Qualifications 2+ of manufacturing or machine operation experience required High school diploma or GED required. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions. Experience using measuring tools and performing quality checks. Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and measurements. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
