Equipment Operator Job Description The Equipment Operator plays a crucial role in the recycling process by proficiently operating a variety of equipment, including forklifts, cranes, stationary shears, and stationary balers. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, grapple cranes, stationary shears, and balers to assist in the recycling process. Load and manage metal materials efficiently and safely. Ensure the operation of machinery aligns with safety standards. Maintain equipment in good working condition and perform routine checks. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating forklifts and cranes. Experience with stationary shears and balers. Ability to lift 50 lbs independently and 100+ lbs with assistance. Experience in metal recycling. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in the recycling industry is a plus. Strong attention to detail and safety protocols. Why Work Here?
