MIXING OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Performed:

Operate all mixing equipment to mix Ingredients per International Nutrition's specified feed formulations. Good housekeeping to be maintained at all times.

WORK DUTIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS

1. Will require the ability to lift 55 lbs. From the floor or turntable to a height of 48 inches. Get inside of mixer to perform a cleanout. Including brushing and scraping of product from walls and floor to be vacuumed out. 2. Safely operate the above-mentioned equipment, starting and stopping in a manner so to not harm the equipment, yourself or your fellow employees. Follow all Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures and established plant safety rules. 3. Work in the most effective and efficient manner at all times. Properly mix all runs in less or equal to the targeted hours on schedule. 4. Must be able to safely operate a forklift. 5. Keep work areas and storage locations clean, well swept and in neat appearance at all times. 6. Provide training to new employees and lesser skilled employees when the time arises for them to learn the batch mixing job. 7. Perform other duties as assigned, fill in other areas as needed. 8. Work overtime as required, including Saturdays if necessary.
