Job Summary The Pre-weigh Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the correct and timely measurement of work order ingredients for beauty care manufacturers and supervises employees in the Pre-Weigh department. This is what you will do: Monitor filling and batching schedule to organize a work order list to be pulled daily. Print work orders for scheduled batches. Check & review work orders before the work order is transferred to the Compounding Department. Return empty barrels to the Utility Workers' area. Keep the Pre-weigh area clean and free of spills using mops, water hoses, brooms, etc. Provide other assistance as directed to the lab and batching department. Ensure safety Regulations are being followed and maintained. Ensure proper entry & closure of chemical storage containers. Ensure proper use of scales. Train pullers on the following pre-weigh procedures (and any others that are pertinent). How to read and use the batch sheet (work order). Proper techniques to use when weighing chemicals for work orders. Proper storage of chemicals pulled for a batch from storage containers. How to read and understand an SDS (Safety Data Sheet). RF Scanner operating procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. This is what you will need: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree in the science field Strong communication skills. Strong Math and Chemistry aptitude. Strong organizational skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English competently. Ability to work on-site. Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance. 1-2 years of supervisory or lead experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
