SUMMARY:
The Production Operator III
  • Extrusion Line Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a plastic extrusion machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate extrusion machinery according to production procedures and diagrams. Adjust and clean machines as necessary, documenting work performed. Collaborate closely with senior personnel to ensure efficient operation and adherence to quality standards. Maintain a moderate understanding of general aspects of the extrusion process. Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with machines.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience with profile extrusion. Minimum of 2 years of general work experience preferred. Familiarity with the following is preferred: Extruders Water tanks Pullers Cutters Die tooling and sizers Various types of plastic resins
SKILLS:
Strong mechanical and operational skills. Ability to understand and troubleshoot machine issues. Physical strength and stamina are essential. Proficient computer skills and good dexterity. Strong critical thinking skills and self-motivation.
