Shift:

Fri, Sat, Sun 6AM-6PM $23.58/hr. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40!

SUMMARY:

Operates assigned equipment used in executing metal finishing operations by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Loads and unloads tote pans of parts, stacks parts in baskets, racks and/or barrels, racks, un-racks, cleans, etches, de-smuts, pickles, bright-dips dyes, degreases, heat treats, plates, coats, wet processes and dries parts. Follows prescribed procedures for processing. Fills baskets, racks and/or barrels with parts to be processed and lowers materials into appropriate tank. Removes parts when process is completed. Maintains cleanliness of tanks and work areas. Monitors temperatures of solutions. Maintains daily production logs. Physically inspects processing to ensure quality of product. May be required to perform general utility work, material handling, assist with chemical handling and solution maintenance and record keeping as needed. May be asked to troubleshoot simple to moderate problems. Is responsible for quality of product produced.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must have a basic understanding of chemistry as it applies to the job, and the ability to solve problems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
