Full Job Description Overview:
Resonetics is looking for a skilled Operator/Machinist who can operate our various machines to perform assigned tasks. These machines include centerless grinders, long stroke gun drill machines, and hone machines. You will produce precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurement tools. A successful operator must possess manual dexterity and an eye for detail. They must have knowledge of basic mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety precautions. The goal is to ensure effective production output.
Shift/Shedule:
2nd Shift 4pm-2:30am
Responsibilities:
Review samples, drawings and instructions to understand specifications of output Understand basic shop math and take measurements to ensure compliance to the customer print. Monitor machine while working to identify issues. Check output to ensure consistency within specifications and detect defects Perform routine machine maintenance and report minor damage
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to use precision tools (e.g. micrometers) to take accurate measurements Ability to read blueprints and manuals Good at math with analytical abilities High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset. Centerless grinding is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven understanding of tooling requirements to setup and operate machines in the departments Familiarity with ISO Quality System particularly in medical device manufacturing. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to process information in both English and Metric measurement systems; ability to convert between the two. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

Thursday Compensation:
The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $24.00 - $30.00/hour. For temp, temp-to-hire, and regular full-time positions, our company policy is that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
