Gemini Valve, a privately held, family owned manufacturer of ball valves and valve accessories, is seeking to add a reliable, productive, and motivated team member for the Saw Operator role. If you enjoy working with metal don't mind getting your hands a little dirty, we may be the right fit for you! Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Operating programmable saws and other auxiliary equipment to produce components to blueprint specifications
- Checking components for conformity based on a pre-defined inspection plan by usage of gauging equipment
- Moving newly received bar stock into its home location(s)
- Maintaining a neat and clean machine and work area
- Recording and reporting daily production figures to our ERP system, Acumatica
- Observing and maintaining basic machine maintenance and input levels
- Recognizing deviations in components and in machine performance, reporting to the Cell Lead
- Demonstrating dependable, reliable, safe work
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with bandsaws preferred
- Great communicator
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
