Job Description

Machine Operator I 20 Industrial Way, Rochester, NH 03867 Laars Heating Systems Company is seeking a Machine Operator. With little supervision, this position will set up, operate and perform simple maintenance on a variety of specialized production equipment. May sort, load, unload, check and inspect. Keep necessary records, reports rejects and failure patterns. Works to sketches, diagrams, drawings, written and verbal instructions. Maintain a quality focus while maintaining production rates. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with Fridays as Overtime. $1500 Sign On Bonus!
The essential job functions include:
The ability to understand written and verbal instructions. The ability to read and interpret basic blueprints. Responds appropriately to system, process, or material problems Performs required inventory functions (e.g. inquiries, updates, transactions, certs) Follows SOP's using correct materials and tools Performs required tasks for product changeover and startup Previous experience in the operation of high volume manufacturing equipment and the use of common hand tools. Set-up machine Understands all job hazards, demonstrates safe behaviors Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience Physical Demands/Work Environment Continuous standing Frequent walking Frequent pushing/pulling Frequent upper extremity use Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
