Shift/Pay:

Experience in Construction/Manufacturing or Production (Preferred) Job Description Join our team as a Machine Operator in the Cants division, where you will play a crucial role in manufacturing fiberboard used for roofing materials. You will be responsible for operating a bandsaw and chop saw to cut the boards to the correct lengths and thicknesses, ensuring they meet customer specifications. Responsibilities Operate bandsaw and chop saw to cut fiberboard to specified lengths and thicknesses. Measure boards accurately to ensure compliance with customer specifications. Stack boards according to specified requirements. Skills Experience in machine operation, particularly operating band saws and chop saws. Ability to measure and cut fiberboard accurately to specific dimensions. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or construction. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position involves working in a manufacturing environment that can be hot and dusty due to fiberboard cutting. The dress code includes work pants, work shirt, and boots. Safety glasses are provided, and you have the option to wear a dust mask or sleeve over your mouth Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berlin, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
