The Ice Palace, Brick, NJ Position Responsibilities:
The Ice Palace is looking to add an additional Zamboni driver to their roster. We're looking for a reliable and motivated Full/ Part-Time Ice Technician to help maintain excellent ice conditions and support daily arena operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hockey, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate the Zamboni to resurface ice before, during, and after hockey games and public skating sessions. Maintain clean, safe, and high-quality ice conditions. Perform basic daily inspections and routine maintenance on the Zamboni and ice equipment. Set up and break down for games, practices, tournaments, and special events. Clean locker rooms, benches, penalty boxes, and surrounding rink areas. Assist with general facility maintenance and report any safety concerns. Follow all arena safety procedures and operational guidelines. Qualifications Previous Zamboni experience is preferred but not required—training can be provided. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a cold environment.
