Job Description
Packaging Lead Capitol Extracts $25/hour Part-Time to Start (Opportunity for Full-Time) Capitol Extracts is looking for a Packaging Lead to help build and grow our packaging department. We're looking for someone who already has cannabis packaging experience, takes pride in their work, and wants to help build a solid team. If you have a network of reliable people you can bring on as we grow, that's a huge plus. This position starts part-time with a flexible schedule but is expected to grow into a full-time role as production increases. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, not just fill a position. Responsibilities Lead daily packaging operations Package cannabis products accurately and efficiently Maintain compliance with company SOPs and NJ cannabis regulations Train and oversee packaging staff Help build and grow the packaging team Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant Work with management to improve packaging workflows and efficiency Maintain accurate records and inventory Qualifications Cannabis packaging experience preferred Familiar with METRC Familiar with CRC compliance Distribution or fulfillment experience is preferred Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Detail-oriented and dependable Able to work independently and solve problems Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods What We're Looking For We want someone who's organized, motivated, and takes ownership of their work.
