Job Description

Position Description:
Position Summary:
Assist the Lead Operator in the setup, operation, and monitoring of assigned bottling lines. Perform packaging and bottling activities in compliance with cGMP regulations, SOPs, safety requirements, and quality standards. Assume Lead Operator responsibilities in the absence of the Lead Operator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the overall performance and operation of the assigned bottling line. Assist the Lead Operator with equipment setup, operation, changeovers, and line start-up activities. Perform tasks as assigned by the Lead Operator, Bottling Supervisor, or Production Management. Assume Lead Operator duties in the absence of the Lead Operator. Complete all required documentation, including batch records, production logs, and equipment records accurately and in a timely manner. Perform line clearance activities and cleaning procedures before, during, and after production runs. Assist during setup processes by performing cleanup and line clearance procedures. Operate bottling, capping, labeling, coding, induction sealing, and packaging equipment. Monitor product quality and packaging integrity throughout production runs. Ensure all SOPs, cGMP requirements, and safety procedures are followed at all times. Perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and setup of bottle packaging equipment. Report equipment malfunctions, product defects, or process deviations to supervision immediately. Assist with preventive maintenance activities as required. Verify packaging materials, labels, and components prior to use. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist the Bottling Supervisor in promoting a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity. Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training programs as required.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous 2-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, beverage, or related manufacturing environment. Knowledge of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Strong written communication and basic mathematical skills. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. \ Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production schedules. Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
