About the Position We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Electroplater / Plating Technician . This is an entry-level position, and prior electroplating experience is not required . We are willing to train the right person who is interested in learning a skilled manufacturing trade. Our shop specializes in electroplating components used in the electronics, RF, aerospace, and defense industries . This position provides hands-on training and the opportunity to develop specialized skills in metal finishing and electroplating. Responsibilities Work alongside lead plater to learn plating processes Clean, prepare, rack, and unrack parts for plating Follow established plating procedures and work instructions Perform basic inspections of finished parts Maintain production and quality records Assist with routine equipment and tank maintenance Follow chemical handling and workplace safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications We are primarily looking for someone who is: Dependable and willing to learn Detail-oriented Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Able to follow written procedures and instructions Comfortable with basic math Able to work carefully with small precision components Previous experience in manufacturing, metal finishing, measuring instruments, production documentation, or other hands-on mechanical work is helpful but not required .
