Banner Production Job Description:

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our dye-sublimation banner shop, with a primary focus on operating laser cutting equipment used for fabric graphics and soft signage products. This role is ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. The main function of this position is operating our conveyor-fed laser cutting machines used to cut printed fabric graphics accurately and efficiently. These machines are used for a variety of dye-sublimated textile products including banners, SEG graphics, soft signage, framed fabric prints, backlit graphics, blockout graphics, and other sewn or finished fabric displays. The operator will be responsible for loading material, setting up cut files or job instructions, aligning printed graphics for accurate cutting, monitoring machine performance during production, and making sure finished pieces are clean, complete, and ready for the next department. This position works closely with print, sewing, finishing, and production staff to help keep jobs moving on time and to shop standards. Experience with laser cutters, conveyor systems, CNC equipment, textile cutting, or print production is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities:

Operate conveyor-fed laser cutting equipment used for fabric graphics and banner production Set up jobs accurately and efficiently based on work orders and production priorities Load printed fabric rolls or cut pieces onto the machine for processing Align artwork and material properly to ensure clean and accurate cuts Monitor machines during operation and make basic adjustments as needed Inspect finished work for cut accuracy, quality, and consistency Read and follow simple job tickets, production instructions, and sizing details Maintain a clean, organized, and safe machine area Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance Report machine issues, production errors, or material problems promptly Maintain accurate production records and job tracking information Work with team members in printing, sewing, finishing, and shipping to keep orders moving on schedule

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail Reliable and able to work in a production setting Comfortable learning and operating production machinery Able to follow instructions and stay organized while handling multiple jobs Good work ethic and willingness to learn Experience with laser cutters, CNC equipment, textile machinery, or print production is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move fabric rolls and materials as needed Comfortable working around production machinery in a shop environment
