Job Summary :
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bindery Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating cutting and folding equipment to accurately prepare printed materials while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule :
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Responsibilities:
Operate folder and cutting equipment to process printed materials according to job specifications. Set up machines, adjust settings, and perform changeovers based on production requirements. Review job tickets, samples, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met. Perform quality checks throughout production to identify and correct issues. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain production efficiency. Load materials, remove finished products, and properly stage completed work for the next production step. Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance to ensure machines operate properly. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures, production guidelines, and quality standards. Communicate production issues, delays, or equipment concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating folder, cutter, or bindery equipment preferred. Experience in a print production, direct mail, or manufacturing environment a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow job specifications. Ability to read and understand production instructions and measurements. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed. Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
