Type:
Temp-to-Hire Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor high-speed packaging and carton flow equipment. You'll ensure machinery runs efficiently, perform changeovers, and maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures. Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform changeovers between production formats and assist with troubleshooting. Conduct pre-operation checks and basic preventative maintenance. Communicate with team members and supervisors to maintain continuous production flow. Follow cGMP standards, food safety regulations, and plant safety guidelines. Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and safe. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of machine operation experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to be trained and adapt to new processes. Basic math and computer skills. Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently. Standing, walking, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift. Occasional exposure to noise, temperature changes, and dust typical of a manufacturing environment. Work Environment Moderate exposure to manufacturing conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust). Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor.
