Job Description
Embroidery Assistant Full-Time / Part-Time (30-40 hrs/week) | Starting at $20/hour About the Role Sneakers Plus is looking for an experienced Embroidery Assistant to join our production team. We produce custom apparel and uniforms for sports teams, schools, corporate clients and events, and embroidery is a key part of our shop. This role runs and maintains our Tajima embroidery machines and supports other tasks around the print shop as needed. What You'll Do Operate Tajima embroidery machines, including our 8-head, two 6-head machines, and a single-head machine Hoop garments and load designs accurately for production runs Monitor machines during operation, troubleshoot thread breaks, tension issues, and misalignment Perform routine machine maintenance (cleaning, oiling, needle changes) Inspect finished embroidery for quality and consistency Assist with other print shop duties as needed (order prep, packaging, general production support) Keep your work area organized and follow shop safety practices What We're Looking For Prior embroidery machine experience required — Tajima experience strongly preferred Comfortable working with multi-head commercial embroidery equipment Good eye for detail and quality control Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a small team Willingness to help with other print shop tasks beyond embroidery
