Currently hiring Machine Operator in the Swedesboro, NJ/ Logan Township are a for a FULL TIME andLONG TERM
opportunity. The Machine operator will be working in a food processing environment and ensures efficient daily line setup in preparation for the next day's production. This role focuses on organizing and executing line changeovers, verifying proper machine setup and coding, and supporting smooth production startup while maintaining safety and quality standards. Prior experinc working as a machine operator in a production/ manufacturing environments would be a qualified candidate to be considered for this position, other skills include making adjustments to the machines depending on the order being ran and performing changeovers on the production machines as when a new product is being ran on the production line. Responsibilities Oversee daily production line changeover activities and provide consistent updates on progress to senior changeover technicians. Set up production lines efficiently in preparation for the following day's production schedule. Identify problems or machine failures during production, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate issues through the appropriate channels when necessary. Confirm at the start of each shift that the assigned line has all required materials properly staged and available. Perform final verification of line setup prior to production start, ensuring machine parts are correctly changed over and that coding matches scheduled paperwork and product specifications. Ensure all parts removed or replaced on lines are returned and stored in their designated locations within the changeover cage area. Assist or cover other production lines with similar machinery as needed to support continuous operations. Perform visual inspections during setup and production to verify proper equipment operation and product quality. Use hand tools and mechanical skills to adjust, change over, or replace machine components as required. Support general production and maintenance activities related to line changeovers and equipment readiness. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
