Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Job Summary We're seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Test Services Technician (Temp) to join our team in Wall, NJ. This division manufactures critical aircraft safety equipment, including evacuation slides, aircraft doors, and other emergency systems for commercial aircraft. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a manufacturing and testing environment. The role requires flexibility, as you'll assist with packing, testing, shipping, assembly support, and other production activities as needed in the warehouse. Responsibilities Rig, pack, and deploy aircraft evacuation systems. Prepare aircraft doors for deployment, including charging and pre-deployment setup. Set up and execute product testing based on engineering specifications. Install evacuation systems into mockups and support deployment testing. Assist engineering by providing feedback during product development. Read and follow production schedules, technical manuals, and folding procedures. Maintain organization of work areas and proper tool control. Charge inflation systems and inspect safety equipment. Assist with shipping, packing, cementing, testing, and other production functions as needed. Support off-site testing, certification efforts, and customer support when required. Support jump testing events and occasional travel. Train fellow technicians and customers on new production programs. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Ability to follow written instructions and technical procedures. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Willingness to assist in multiple departments as needed. Previous manufacturing, assembly, testing, or production experience is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Forklift and/or scissor lift certification (training provided). Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or industrial production is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift. Comfortable working at heights. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks. Ability to work indoors and outdoors during testing events. Ability to work overtime as needed. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
