Job Description

Job Summary As a Packaging Technician, you will support finished product inspection, packaging quality checks, and component verification to help ensure products meet required specifications. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Acceptable Quality Limit sampling on finished products to confirm they meet required defect thresholds.
  • Inspect labeling and cartoning lines to help prevent mislabeling, packaging errors, and quality defects.
  • Verify the quality, specifications, and sterile integrity of raw manufacturing components such as vials, stoppers, seals, and filters.
  • Follow safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Document inspection results, routine reports, and quality-related findings accurately.
  • Work closely with production, packaging, and quality team members to support efficient daily operations. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay Rate:
    $17.00 per hour, W2.
  • Job Type:
    Temp-to-Hire possibly.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Location:
    Balloon Park Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Perform finished product sampling and inspection to support quality standards.
  • Inspect labeling and cartoning lines for packaging accuracy and defect prevention.
  • Verify raw manufacturing components for quality, specifications, and sterile integrity.
  • Complete routine documentation and communicate inspection results clearly.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Entry-level candidates with at least 3 months of related experience or training will be considered.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Basic math skills, including algebra and geometry. Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in packaging, quality inspection, manufacturing, warehousing, shipping and receiving, or production.
  • Familiarity with finished goods inspection, component verification, or regulated production environments.
  • Experience following standard operating procedures and documenting quality results.
