RESPONSIBILITIES
. The roles & responsibilities of the Packing Assistant include, but are not limited, to the following:
Order Fulfillment:
Handle order fulfillment and customer relations for wholesale, online, and retail store customers.
Tea:
Shipping & packaging (label and box/tin)
Honey:
Shipping & packaging (label and bottle)
Facility Organization:
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the production areas. Organize and maintain the production facility. Communicate with supervisor on finished goods ordering needs Communicate with supervisor on packaging ordering needs (bottles, tins, labels, jars)
Inventory Management:
Collaborate with the supervisor to ensure adequate inventory of packaging materials, cleaning supplies, and office essentials. Organize raw materials and finished goods in the inventory. Manage the inventory system, including pricing, cost analysis, removing old items, and assisting with quarterly inventory. Receive and input inventory during work shifts, cross-checking with invoices to ensure all orders are complete.
Adherence of Standards:
Strictly adhere to all regulatory compliance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required for job functions. Uphold all OBTC (Company Name) standards and take the initiative on projects. Keeps a positive working environment Participate in staff meetings
Food Safety & Quality Control:
Perform quality control checks on raw materials and finished goods. Strictly follow all food safety rules during production.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The Employee is expected to possess a strong ability to understand and execute tasks accurately and efficiently, coupled with a keen attention to detail and the capability to follow instructions precisely. Additionally, effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with excellent organizational and prioritization abilities. The role also requires physical stamina, including the capacity to lift 50 pounds and work on feet for extended periods. Proficiency in utilizing relevant job-related equipment and software is a key qualification for this position.
Pay:
$16.00 per hour
