Job Description

Superior Industries is seeking a precise, safety-minded, and dependable Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality and safety, a coachable attitude, and the ability to accurately cut materials to support our production goals. Job Location Belen, NM - (80 Don Luis Trujillo Blvd)
Key Responsibilities Blueprint Interpretation:
Read and accurately interpret engineering prints and blueprints to determine exact cutting dimensions and specifications.
Precision Cutting:
Safely layout and cut structural steel and raw materials as required by those blueprints and production orders.
Equipment Operation:
Set up and operate industrial saws, forklifts, and other material handling equipment required to move and process inventory.
Safety Compliance:
Strictly follow all safe operating policies, guidelines, and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Team Support:
Adapt to production needs and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Shift Day Shift:
Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Employee Benefits Weekly paycheck Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays 401(k) retirement account with a 5% company match Annual boot reimbursement up to $125 "On-the-Spot" performance bonuses up to $100
Qualifications Blueprint Literacy:
Proven ability to read and accurately interpret industrial blueprints and prints.
Experience:
Previous experience operating fabrication machinery of 1+ years preferred.
Equipment Familiarity:
Experience safely operating industrial saws, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
Fractional Accuracy:
Skilled in measuring 1/8" and 1/16" gradations on a tape measure.
