Description:

This is a full-time temporary position from approximately March, 1 2026 to November, 30 2026. All applicants must be willing, able and qualified to perform work described in duties. Applicants must also be eligible for employment in the United States and available at the time and place needed. 5 Planting Operator Technician

Duties:

Crops:

Pumpkins All applicants must be able, willing, and qualified to perform the work described in this job description and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in this order. This work order is for qualified people to operate and maintain planting and various other heavy machinery. Workers must be willing to work in varied weather conditions. the work requires long hours of standing, bending, walking, and lifting up to 75 pounds. The workers will be operating and maintaining various diesel farm equipment. Workers will not be required to work for more than the number of hours specified in the job order for a workday, or on the workers Sabbath or Federal holidays. Employer will furnish to workers at no cost all tools and equipment required to perform duties assigned. Workers must be able to take directions in simple English. Work is to be done for long periods of time in the field, when plants may be wet with dew and rain, and may be required during light rain, snow, moderate winds, direct sun, high humidity and extreme temperatures. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, insect spray, related chemicals, etc. may affect workers ability to perform the job. Workers must be able to perform the required work with or without reasonable accommodations. Daily or weekly work schedules may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Workers may not report for work under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol on company worksites or vehicles is prohibited and will be cause for immediate termination. The employer may terminate a worker for cause if a criminal conviction or sex offender status is discovered during employment, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, to ensure the safety of other workers, staff, and the public. Employer retains the right to terminate workers for lawful job-related reasons, including but not limited to workers who: are regularly absent or tardy; malingers or otherwise refuses to work in accordance with direction, or is otherwise obviously unqualified to perform the job; is physically able but does not demonstrate the willingness to perform the work necessary.

Housing:

Employer will provide housing at no cost to the H-2A worker and US workers who are not reasonably able to return to their residence in the same day.

Housing located in:

Fruitland New Mexico.

Transportation:

The employer shall provide transportation between the place where the employer has provided housing to the actual work site and return at the end of the workday. Transportation will be without cost to the worker.
