Role Requirements:
ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required Current NM state licensure (or eligibility) as a Radiation Therapist BLS certification through the American Heart Association Previous experience with advanced radiation equipment preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to adapt to evolving clinical protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy treatments per physician directives Maintain precise records and ensure patient safety throughout procedures Coordinate closely with oncology teams for integrated care delivery Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews Provide patient education and emotional support
