We are seeking a dedicated Tablet Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process. This position directly impacts product quality and production efficiency, ensuring consistent output across all tablet manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor tablet press machines, including tooling installation, calibration, and adjustments.
Perform in-process and finished product checks and ensure tablets meet weight, hardness, thickness, and appearance specifications.
Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments to maintain optimal performance and product quality and consistency.
Assemble and disassemble equipment for cleaning and changeovers.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets by hand.
Operate hand pallet jacks and forklifts to move product.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Follow production schedules and communicate material or mechanical issues proactively.
Perform other duties as assigned. Experience Experience with rotary tablet presses is a plus.
High School diploma or GED.
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tablet compression processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate quality checks.
A willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions with precision.
Ability to stand, bend, climb, reach, kneel, and lift repeatedly during shift.
Forklift operation is a plus.
