Manufacturing Position Summary Ōnin Staffing is currently seeking Cable Operators for a manufacturing opportunity. The Cable Operator will set up, operate, and troubleshoot cabling equipment used in the production of custom wire and cable products. Primary Responsibilities Set up and operate cabling equipment. Perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery. Troubleshoot equipment, production, and product-quality issues. Follow production schedules, specifications, SOPs, and work instructions. Use computers to access and enter production information. Use barcode scanners to verify materials and part numbers. Complete required production documentation accurately. Perform and document quality inspections. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all PPE and workplace safety requirements. Participate in scheduled inventory activities. Follow established 5S workplace organization practices. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Experience working with manufacturing equipment is a plus. Basic computer and math skills. Good hand dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements. Ability to work safely with both hands around manufacturing equipment. Steel-toed shoes and required PPE must be worn.
