Job Description
Job description Power Pallet Inc. is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Band Saw Operator to join our growing pallet manufacturing team in Amsterdam, New York. This position plays a key role in the production process by cutting pallet lumber to precise measurements while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Operate industrial band saw equipment safely and efficiently
- Cut pallet lumber and recycled wood materials to required specifications
- Inspect materials for quality and usability
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Assist with general production duties as needed
- Work collaboratively with production and warehouse teams Qualifications
- Manufacturing, saw operation, woodworking, or pallet industry experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate machinery in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift, stack, and move materials throughout the shift
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required What We Offer
