Job Description
Dry End Operator 9567 Main St, Beaver Falls, NY 13305 $26.57 - $28.43 an hour - Full-time $26.57 - $28.43 an hour - Full-time Paper Machine Dry End Operator is in a line of progression, giving opportunity for promotion. Position assists with the operation of the driers, calendar stacks and winding sections of the fourdrinier papermaking machine to produce paper and rewind it onto rolls or sheet per instructions. Required to read and follow order specifications and customer instructions. Observe and inspect the operation. Accuracy in reading a tape measure. Accurately record data into computer. Ability to safely drive a fork and clamp trump. Ability to communicate with all levels of the company. This is a rotating shift work position. Most commonly 8-hour shifts but 12-hour shift are occasional. Shift differential is paid on the 2nd (4% in addition to the hourly rate) and 3rd (7% in addition to the hourly rate) shifts. Overtime is paid after forty (40) hours and double time paid on Sunday.
