Nesco Resource is seeking Machine Operators to support production operations in a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining packaging equipment while ensuring product quality, food safety, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay Rate:
$18.65•$22.00/hour $1.00/hour Shift Differential for 2nd Shift $2.00/hour Shift Differential for 3rd

AM Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate packaging equipment including corrugated box casers, bagging systems, and radial scale systems Perform machine changeovers according to production schedules Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist maintenance personnel with repairs when necessary Ensure packaging accuracy, product weights, and labeling meet quality standards Follow HACCP, SQF, food safety, and quality requirements Maintain production records and documentation Support production goals while maintaining efficiency and quality standards Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety procedures and policies
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience operating manufacturing or packaging equipment preferred Ability to use hand tools and perform basic equipment adjustments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent attendance and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, moisture, heat, humidity, and moving machinery Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance Must follow all PPE, food safety, and workplace safety requirements at all times Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
