Job Description
We are looking for an Production Assembler to join our team!
Your Impact:
- Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
- Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
- Packs finished product for shipment.
- Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.
- Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.
Qualifications:
Skills & Experience The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:- Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment preferred.
- Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.
- Must be available to train on A shift prior to moving to B shift
