A Day in the Life of a Set-Up Technician As a Set-Up Technician , your day is focused on preparing equipment for delivery, demonstration, and customer use. You may spend your morning assembling new equipment, installing attachments or integrated solutions, and performing pre-delivery inspections. Throughout the day, you'll test systems, complete setup procedures, and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and operating properly before it leaves the dealership. You'll work closely with the sales and service teams to help create a smooth customer experience and ensure equipment is delivered ready to work. This is a role for someone who enjoys working with their hands, following detailed processes, and taking pride in quality workmanship. Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: do the job right and prepare equipment the right way. What You'll Do As a Set-Up Technician , you will: assemble and service equipment and attachments sold by the dealership perform pre-delivery inspections on equipment and merchandise prepare equipment for customer delivery and demonstrations install and support Integrated Solutions (IS) products as needed operate and maintain tools, vehicles, forklifts, and equipment used in the setup process follow manufacturer procedures and dealership standards during assembly and setup complete required paperwork, inspection reports, and documentation accurately maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area track time and materials used during setup assignments support teammates across departments to ensure equipment readiness What You Bring You'll be a great fit for this Set-Up Technician role if you: enjoy hands-on mechanical work and problem solving take pride in attention to detail and quality workmanship work well independently and as part of a team stay organized and dependable in a fast-paced environment care about safety and doing the job right the first time enjoy seeing equipment prepared and ready for customers What You Need to be a
