PDF Seal produces pre-die cut foil lids to seal cups and trays for both consumer and food service packaged products. JOB DESCRIPTION
PDF Seal is searching for a Press Assistant to contribute to the success of our production of foil lids at our facility in Hauppauge, NY location.
Responsibilities include the following:
  • Maintain the mounting and ink area in a clean and organized manner
  • Mixing ink to required specifications
  • Mount and de-mount plates
  • Move materials and supplies within the facility to support production
  • Set up jobs according to specifications of order
  • Assist with press clean up
  • Maintaining the ink shelf
  • Adhere to company GMPs and perform job is a safe manner
  • Perform job according to written company standard operating procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma preferred
  • 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Good communication skills to follow instructions, preferably in English
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Flexible and organized
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Good interpersonal skills to successfully interact with team members
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Flexible and dedicated to doing what it takes to get the job done

Manufacturing Base Salary Range:
