Apparel Production / Screen Printer

Apparel Department Assistant:

Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment, with good communication skills and have the ability to multitask. Works directly with Apparel Department Manager to receive and produce apparel projects. Will also need to assist in moving completed orders and boxes up to 50-75lbs. Will be required to work on automated screen printing press and embroidery machines as needed.

Screen Printing Responsibilities:

Pre-press duties: coating screens, printing films, burning screens Receiving and counting apparel to be imprinted. Organizing apparel into boxes according to job and due dates Preparing the press for each job. Collecting inks to be used. Loading screens and registering each screen to the film positives. Loading press with ink and accessories to run the job. When the job is complete, remove all the pieces and prepare press for the next job. Cleaning screens from completed jobs and any other items used for that job. Reclaiming screens

Responsibilities Embroidery:

Receiving and reading artwork to be set up for embroidery, setting up jobs on a commercial embroidery machine, producing the embroidered apparel and breaking down each job in preparation for another job. Routine machine maintenance will be required for all equipment. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and operate large machinery. Excellent hand-eye coordination Ability to troubleshoot errors. Ability to organize and complete jobs in a timely manner.
