- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience with the following skills: attention to detail, communication skills, and basic computer skills,
- Knowledge of operating light-duty bench or floor-type machine tools and equipment
- Understanding of gauges, jigs, and fixtures used to measure close tolerances
- Ability to monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process and control procedures
- Capability to set up machining machines, perform adjustments, and support machine maintenance
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP and visual acuity while working with microscopes Job Duties & Functions
- Operate light-duty bench and floor-type machine tools, including lathes, power mills, extruding machines, drills, punch presses, power brakes, shears, and saws
- Set up machining equipment and adjust machine settings to support production requirements
- Perform routine machine maintenance activities to maintain operational efficiency
- Inspect completed work using gauges, jigs, and fixtures to verify close tolerances
- Monitor production quality in accordance with statistical process and quality control procedures
- Support numerically controlled machine operations when applicable
- Interpret production requirements and follow established manufacturing procedures
- Maintain accurate production workflow while supporting onsite manufacturing operations
- Utilize microscopes when required to support precision inspection activities
- Coordinate with production teams to maintain quality and schedule expectations
