Job Description
Position:
Machine Operator - 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift Reports to:Shift Supervisor & Lead Operator Internal Clients:
Lead Operator, Shift Supervisor, Plant Manager, Quality Inspector Purpose:
To ensure picking, inspecting, assembling, and packaging of injection molded parts is done in accordance with Customer, Natech and ISO Standards.Qualifications:
Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English and/or Spanish language. Ability to complete simple mathematical problems (addition and subtraction) Responsible, punctual, and reliable. Strong initiative and attention to detail. Ability to work as a team, in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to work weekends and, if required, on different shifts. Capable of lifting 40 lbs of weight. Able to work on feet while using tools to perform repetitive actions for an 8-hour shift.Highly Desirable:
Experience within plastics industry Experience with ISO Standard 9001 and 13485Responsibilities:
Picking, inspecting, trimming, assembling, and packing of finished goods. Occasionally Operate Assembly and Injection Molding Machines. Safely moving boxes of up to 40 lbs of weight from workstation to weighing station. Sorting, counting, and weighing of finished goods. Working multiple tasks and machines at the same time as directed. Ensure all quality requirements are met when inspecting parts, identify, and communicate suspect quality to the Shift Supervisor, Lead Operator, QC Inspector, and/or a member of management. Maintain clean and organized workstations and cleanliness of other plant facilities. Continually improve the flow of material, operator, and information. Perform other tasks as necessary to aid the company policy.
