Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Label Machine Operator and become a vital part of our production process! In this energetic role, you will operate and monitor label printing and application machines to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality labeling of products. Your attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety will drive smooth operations and contribute to our overall success. Duties Operate, monitor, and adjust label printing and application machines to meet production specifications. Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues early. Troubleshoot mechanical or operational problems on packaging machines promptly to minimize downtime. Handle materials using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently. Follow safety standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protocols at all times. Assist with packaging processes, ensuring labels are applied accurately and products are correctly prepared for shipment. Maintain cleanliness of work area, document production activities, and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns. Experience Prior experience operating packaging or labeling machinery in a manufacturing or food production setting is preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively. Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including GMP compliance. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, counts, and adjustments on machinery. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence, PPE use, and industrial equipment troubleshooting skills. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality control is highly valued.
