Job Description

As a Machine Operator Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment while contributing to the quality and output of our products. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Tonawanda, NY location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the manufacturing operations by ensuring machines run smoothly, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to safety and quality standards to support Honeywell's commitment to excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate assigned machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure machines are functioning properly.
  • Monitor production output and report any irregularities or malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Experience in operating manufacturing machinery or in a production environment is preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with machine operation tools and equipment, including the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to monitor machine performance and identify issues quickly to minimize downtime.
