  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse/Assembly Associate to join our fast-paced distribution and manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and assembling products to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to accurate order fulfillment, safe materials handling, and seamless warehouse management. Responsibilities Manage inventory control processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels and locations accurately. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse. Perform stocking, picking & packing, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving duties with precision to meet customer deadlines. Handle materials with care during heavy lifting, mechanical assembly, packaging, and materials handling tasks while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance on warehouse machinery. Assist in construction or manufacturing-related assembly tasks as needed, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the process. Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining organized storage areas, conducting inventory audits, and implementing improvements for efficiency. Requirements Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and inventory management techniques. Valid certification or experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 systems, and RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation, packaging machinery, and materials handling tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stock movement or assembly tasks. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse operations is essential.
