2nd and 3rd Shift Job Summary A manufacturing company in Bellefontaine, Ohio is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Extrusion Operators to join its manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating extrusion equipment used to manufacture industrial rubber hose while monitoring product quality and meeting production goals. No prior extrusion experience is required. On-the-job training is provided for dependable, motivated individuals who are eager to learn and build their manufacturing skills.
Training:
All Training done on 1st shift, and then moved to 2nd or 3rd shift once training is complete. Production Extrusion Operator Responsibilities Operate and monitor hose extrusion machinery. Load raw materials and rubber compounds into production equipment. Follow all safety, quality, and productivity standards. Perform work according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Use basic math skills to accurately record and report production data. Properly operate equipment and hand tools. Perform quality checks throughout the production process. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment. Properly use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE). Work collaboratively in a team-focused manufacturing environment. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to perform medium-duty manufacturing work, including: Lift up to 50 lbs. Stand and remain active for extended periods. Push, pull, and handle materials throughout the shift. Work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
