Job Description

A growing logistics company supporting automotive paint operations is seeking skilled Chemical Technicians to join its team. This position offers excellent long-term growth and advancement opportunities.
Schedule:
6:00 PM-6:00 AM Rotating schedule: Three days one week and four days the following week Responsibilities Accurately kit dry and liquid chemicals according to specified formulations and production schedules. Safely mix chemicals in precise quantities by following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures. Use scales, balances, and other measuring equipment to calculate accurate weights and measurements. Perform routine inspections and testing to ensure chemical batches meet established quality standards. Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, respirator fit testing, lockout/tagout, and grounding and bonding. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of chemical mixing and kitting equipment. Safely operate a forklift. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or chemical-handling certification is preferred. Previous chemical mixing, batch-making, or chemical-kitting experience preferred. Knowledge of PPE, respirator requirements, lockout/tagout, and grounding and bonding procedures. Previous forklift experience preferred. Strong math skills and attention to detail. Ability to accurately calculate weights and measurements. Ability to lift and move chemical containers weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass a respirator fit test and comply with all PPE requirements. Dependability and the ability to work a rotating overnight schedule.
