RESPONSIBILITIESSet up, operate, or monitor plating or coating machines to coat metal or plastic products with metal to protect or decorate surfacesCarefully submerge the product in coating solutions or liquid metal or plastic for precise timesRemove the product and examine the coating for flaws including air bubbles or uneven coverageEnsure machinery is in proper working order through testing, troubleshooting, or repairsSpray coating in specified patterns according to order instructionsAdjust settings and controls to ensure conformance to specificationsRinse finished products in cleansing liquids and dry them with cloths, centrifugal driers, or by tumbling in sawdust-filled barrelsComply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gearMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
