Shift:

1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday (potential OT)

Rate:

$21.00-$24.00 (based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced Skilled Machine Operator to join a steel fabrication shop in Cincinnati! This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to read a tape measure and work with fractions. Candidates with CNC machine operation experience are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Operate CNC equipment to fabricate and form flat sheet metal, including turret punches and shears. Fabricate aluminum extrusions using CNC machinery and conventional equipment. Operate mills, drills, saws, and various hand tools. Read and interpret measurements, including fractions, using a tape measure. Follow work instructions and maintain quality standards throughout the fabrication process. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Requirements:

Previous manufacturing or steel fabrication experience preferred. CNC machine operation experience strongly preferred. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and understand fractions. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Positive attitude, dependable work history, and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively in a steel fabrication shop environment.
