Join our team as a Machine Operator in Columbia Station and learn valuable skills in a friendly, supportive environment. As a Machine Operator, you'll work closely with experienced team members to operate heading (cold-forming) machinery. You'll gain hands-on experience in machine operation, maintenance, and safety procedures, all while developing skills that can boost your future career. What You'll Do As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:- Loading raw wire and operating heading machines, making necessary adjustments for quality and efficiency
- Reading blueprints and measuring parts with gauges to ensure products meet quality standards
- Learning to change machine tooling such as dies and punches, and performing basic equipment maintenance like checking oil levels
- Safely operating a forklift, with training and licensing provided
- Using a computer to review job sheets and log production data accurately
- Maintaining a clean work station and following all safety and housekeeping protocols What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills
