Job Description
Yizumi-HPM Die Cast Machinery Operations and Service Responsibilities for DCM Operations and Service Fits and assembles components and sub-assemblies according to assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, and sketches, and carries out final machine start-up, inspection, testing, and qualification. Documents any assembly or quality issues and provides them to the DCM operations leader for his review and corrective actions. At times may be called upon to install machines at customer facilities, or to provide technical service at customer sites including trouble shooting and repairs The job requires over night travel from time to time between 25-50%. Travel over weekends is infrequent. Has intermediate to expert ability to understand the Allen-Bradley programming software termed Rockwell Software RSLogix 5000. Work in a safe manner following all company and relevant site safety policies. Work well within a team concept. Follow work plans provided by supervisors and group leaders Share ideas for promoting lean opportunities Track work time accurately, and submit relevant time, attendance and production records. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A technical degree is preferable
- Strong ability to work well with others, and also to work independently at times
- Basic to strong knowledge of Die Casting Machinery, systems and controls
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Ability to use basic hand tools, hoists and cranes, and measuring devices to assemble large machinery
- Ability to use basic manual machine tools would be plus
- +2 years experience in a similar role, or other demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements
- Have a strong safety awareness and protect yourself and others
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability to work with customers, company employees, and suppliers
