Job Title:
Machine Set-Up Technician Pay:
$19•$20/hour
Role Overview:
Our long time client is seeking a motivated Machine Set-Up Technician to join their team. In this role, you will serve as a key technical support member, assisting in machine set-ups, training other employees, and ensuring smooth production operations. This position acts as a step up from a standard Machine Operator; when you are not performing set-ups, you will be operating machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform machine set-ups as required (frequency varies based on production needs). Train and mentor fellow machine operators. Operate machinery during non-set-up periods. Ensure operational efficiency and equipment readiness.
Requirements:
Strong familiarity with basic hand tools (screwdrivers, socket wrenches, Allen wrenches, etc.). Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different tasks. Willingness to participate in on-the-job training.
Schedule:
Initial Schedule:
Monday•Thursday, 6:30 AM•5:00 PM.
Transition:
After a short onboarding period, the role will transition to a 6:00 AM•5:10 PM shift to facilitate machine start-up and shut-down procedures (approx. 2.5 hours of weekly overtime).
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $19.00•$20.00
