A Saw Operator operates and maintains a machine saw (such as an adjustable circular saw) to perform such operations as ripsawing, cross cutting, beveling, grooving, and mitering. Maybe responsible for tool set-up for different types of cut or for different material to be cut.

Position Summary:
Northwest Hardwoods is the premier Hardwood Lumber producer in the industry serving furniture, cabinet, and molding and millwork segments worldwide. We operate manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. We have an immediate opening, seeking a full time Lumber Handler. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Handling, sorting, and stacking rough cut lumber by dimension, species, and grade Ensure lumber is placed accurately and neatly into the appropriate cart Working in open warehouses and keeping work areas safe and clean Participate in job rotations
Basic Qualifications:
Work at a fast pace and be detail oriented team player Cross train in other production related jobs An all-around positive work attitude, at all times
Required Qualifications:
Must be safety conscious, have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment. Must have and maintain excellent attendance record. Pre-employment physical and drug-screen required. Candidates must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis. Always required to wear personal protective equipment. Education High school or GED equivalent or 18 yrs. of age
